Outpatient Programs

Admissions

Clients can enter services their own, or be referred by another person and/or institution including their doctor, a family member or friend, community, religious, legal, social service organizations, hospitals, another clinic, or by other mental health professionals.

NCMHC will follow specific criteria for admission to make sure that individuals who are admitted for services can be managed and treated through the Center’s outpatient activities. When necessary, the Center makes referrals when our services are not the most appropriate treatment, or when additional services are needed.

Individuals must agree to follow the Center’s intake process in order to be admitted as a client to the center. Specific criteria will also be followed for continued treatment to make sure that ongoing treatment is appropriate.
